Our mission at CS Sports Performance is to support athletes and coaches in achieving peak performance by integrating the science of sport psychology with practical, personalized strategies. We believe in making mental performance training accessible, relatable, and impactful across all levels of sport. Through collaboration, education, and applied coaching, we help individuals build the mental resilience, focus, and confidence needed to thrive in competitive environments—and beyond.

Meet the Team

Courtney Stevens, MSc, BA

Courtney Stevens, raised in Canmore, Alberta, developed a deep connection to sport and community that led her to pursue a career in sport psychology. With a background as a high-level soccer player and youth coach, she earned a BA in Psychology from UBC Okanagan and an MSc in Kinesiology from the University of Lethbridge, where her research focused on anxiety management strategies for athletes.

Her academic work, published in the Journal of Sport Psychology in Action, was supported by the Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship and reflected her dedication to bridging mental skills training with coaching practices. Actively involved in professional organizations and applied sport settings, she now works as a performance coach, helping athletes and coaches enhance mental performance through practical, science-based strategies.
